“Mehudoor” was founded to give the global Jewish community access to certified mezuzos (and soon tefillin, sifrei Torah, megillos, and neviim as well), all produced under comprehensive halachic oversight, with a focus on trust, service, and a personal touch.
As awareness grows about the widespread sale of mezuzos by sellers and brokers who often lack true knowledge about the items they sell and whether or not they were reliably produced, it has become harder for buyers to feel confident in what they’re purchasing.

Mehudoor mezuzos are certified by both STAMP and the OU, who have partnered to
create a state-of-the-art certification system that ensures each mezuzah’s kashrus and reliability from start to finish.
All Mehudoor sofrim are STAMP-certified professionals, known for their yiras shomayim and exceptional technical skill — fully qualified for this holy work. Every mezuzah goes through a multi-stage checking process, including at least two STAMP-certified magihim (checkers) and two computer checks, ensuring it is entirely mistake-free.
With full transparency about the materials used, the sofer and magihim involved, and the
checking process, each mezuzah is sealed in a tamper-proof sleeve together with a unique certificate of authenticity.

Ink used by our sofrim is approved by the STAMP rabbinic board and meets halachic requirements for long-lasting, true blackness (as is mandated by halacha).

We had a vision and a goal: to create an organized system that would provide kosher-certified mezuzos, as well as other types of sacred scrolls, at the highest mehadrin standards to discerning clients around the world, together with personal, professional and reliable service. Until now, these items have generally been purchased either directly from the sofer (the scribe) or from a dealer, and the customer has had to rely solely on the skill and integrity of that individual. MEHUDOOR works closely with the OU and its partner organization STAMP, which developed a unique computerized system for proofreading mezuzos, as well as providing strict and comprehensive supervision to ensure that they are kosher.
Our licensed sofrim are experienced professionals, known for their yiras Shamayim, who have passed a qualification exam that confirms their halachic knowledge and the beauty of their writing. After writing, which is done to the most meticulous standards, each mezuzah is proofread twice by computer and then twice by licensed human proofreaders. This system ensures that there are no compromises at any stage of production. Next, the mezuzah is hermetically sealed to prevent tampering, and an identity certificate with a serial number is attached to certify its kashrus, quality, and reliability.
